It is with regret that the FDNY Pipes and Drums announces the death of Active Fireman Martin Simmons of Ladder 111 in Brooklyn. Martin passed away while saving his son from Drowning in Lake Tahoe, NV. He was a 17 year veteran on the FDNY and will be sadly missed by his Brothers in Engine 214 and Ladder 111.
