The FDNY Pipes and Drums have been invited to take part in the City of Castellon de la Plana Fire Department's 150th Anniversary celebration. We will be participating in 4 different events, including 2 parades, playing for the Mayor of the City of Castellon de la Plana and playing at a large Fiesta that takes place on the weekend. The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at the Elks Lodge St. Patrick's Dinner. The Elks have have been great to the band letting us practice at their lodge over the years!

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be marching in the NYC St. Patricks Day Parade for the 47th year in a row. For more info click here

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at this event to remember Christian Engledrum who was KIA in Iraq. Christian was a member of Ladder Company 61 in the Bronx. On Monday, March 22, 2010 at 1100 hours, the FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at a Plaque Dedication honoring the memory of Firefighter John J. Kelly, E-37, who died on March 22, 2009.  The dedication will take place in the quarters  
E-37/L-40, located at 415 West 125 Street, New York, NY. A Memorial Mass will precede the Plaque Dedication
at 0930 Hours. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased.  
Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

On Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 1100 hours, the FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at a Plaque Dedication honoring the memory of Firefighter Salvatore Scarentino, L-24, who died on March 21, 2009. The dedication will take place in the quarters of E-1/L-24, located at 142 West 31 Street, New York, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to
attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be opening up the dinner hour at the World Fire and Police Games Dinner. This event is being held at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in Midtown!

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at this annual game! The band will be routing for the Bravest to beat up the FInest!

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be packing up and heading to Tennesse for a fundraiser to benefit a 3 year old girl who is battling Neuroblastoma. This is a very rare cancer of the nervous system, with only about 600 cases known world wide. We will be playing at the Grand Old Opry, for more info on tickets and times click here

The FDNY Pipes and Drums has the distinct honor to lead the Wounded Warriors when they march in the famous Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington DC! When the band finishes the parade we will be headed up to Walter Reed Hospitial to visit with some of our injured soldiers! The Band is very much looking forward to this trip to honor those who have given so much for us! For more info on the parade click here

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at the commissioning of the new Fireboat Three Forty Three to be held at the Intrepid Museum which is located at W 46th St & West Street, in Manhattan.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at a Plaque Dedication for FF Timothy G. Lockwood of Engine 275 on Thursday May 27, 2010. This Ceremony is taking place in the quarters of Engine 275/Ladder 133 111-36 Merrick Blvd., Jamaica, NY at 1100 hours.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be marching in the Great Neck Memorial Day Parade. Parade day will see marching organizations assembling at 9 a.m. at South Middle Neck Road and Hillpark Avenue, in Great Neck Plaza. The parade will then continue to the Village Green, at Middle Neck Road in the Village of Great Neck, where a memorial ceremony will be held.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be marching in the Merrick Memorial Day Parade. All are invited to pay tribute to veterans at this event, which begins at the railroad station and then proceeds north on Merrick Avenue.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be marching in the Bay Ridge Memorial Day Parade. The parade starts on 91st Street and Third Avenue and travels along Third Avenue to Marine Avenue, up to Fourth Avenue and concluding in John Paul Jones Park on 101st Street and Fourth Avenue. Immediately after the parade, a ceremony will be held in the park.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at this event. The FDNY will celebrate Medal Day on Wednesday June 2, on the steps of City Hall. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at the Funeral of Fireman Gustavo Northia of Engine 83 in the Bronx. Gustavo lost his battle to cancer this week after a long struggle. The funeral will be held at Ortiz Funeral Home, 4425 Broadway New York, cross street 189th.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will take part in a parade on June 19th, 2010 @ 6pm in Locust Valley, LI

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at a plaque dedication for FF Jacques Paultre
This will be held at Engine 50 and Ladder 19 1155 Washington Ave., Bronx, NY

It is with regret, the FDNY announces the death of Firefighter Scott T. Seaver, L-30  
(appointed May 31, 2005), which occurred on July 1, 2010. The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at his funeral which will take place at the Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Road, Rye, NY, on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, followed by a Mass of
Christian Burial at 1100 hours, at the Church of the Resurrection, 910 Boston Post Road, Rye, NY.

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at the annual Fire Department vs Police Department race! Come out and support the Bravest!

The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at the game to support the FDNY Baseball team! The game will be held at the MCU ball park (formerly Keyspan Park) in Coney Island! We are slated to play somewhere around the 4th Inning! Come out and support these two teams as they battle it out. For more info click this link

Some members of the FDNY Pipe Band will join the DCFD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums as they help support the Tour of Duty runners. The Tour of Duty runners are from Australia, FDNY, Port Authority and a few other Fire Departments. They are running across the country in honor of 9/11. The run started at the Santa Monica Pier and will be ending at the World Trade Center site on 9/11.
